It’s great to know you guys are back home. Thank you for sharing this amazing experience. I‘m so glad that you were able to take a break from your daily routine and your comfort zone. It was also good to see you guys connecting to your roots, friends and family. It’s clear that you made the most of your trip and truly savored every moment!

Yes, it really was a nice break away from my daily routines and life, and I'm happy that we could do so much. You know very well the importance of staying in connection with your roots and with friends and family who live abroad - and the challenges at times of trying to maintain those connections over time.

Great to hear your reflection on the trip, and to know you two are transitioning back to Chicago lifestyle. You are both such resilient people, and this trip seemed to further develop your capacity to adapt to various situations you make for yourself. Case in point -- not everyone would be as "at peace" as you two are upon return from such an extended and action-packed trip. I would need 10 days straight of abject boredom before I began to dig out.
